The farm where David and I get our raw milk has a field that fills with Goldenrod in the late summer/early fall. I asked the farmer if I could harvest from her land, she gladly said, “yes! Take it all!” We ventured into the field and filled bags and bags and bags, then as we walked back to our car and looked back at the field, it didn’t even look like it had been touched! This is one of David’s favorite Taboo Tinctures, as soon as the first batch was ready, he kept 4 bottles for himself. It’s funny how some herbs really speak to us and others don’t.
