To Fill: pour in salt through the hole in the bottom, and tap on the side to get the salt into the chamber.
To Use: Give it a shake, one shake is all it takes. The salt travels up and back through the cone through the same hole you used to fill it.
It’s a tiny, and makes a great conversation piece. Everyone is always so enthralled to give it a shake. Perhaps one for every person at the dinner table would really knock your guests socks off!
Note: Do NOT submerge in water. It’s not easy to dry the interior and that can make your salt clump up. The interior is already sterilized by high heat during the firing process, so it’s ready to go out of the box! It is still considered food safe because you’re only using salt (or any dry seasoning would work too)
They stand about an 1 1/2 inches tall, perfect for the size of your hand.
